Part 1 — Adding a Student to Your School
To add a student, navigate to Schools and select the Students tab. Click Add Student to School, then enter the student’s details including their student identifier, email, first name, last name, and date of birth. Click Search — this will check whether the student already exists in Elastik’s platform.
If the student appears in the results, select their name from the list and proceed to Part 2.
If the student does not appear, click Reject Matches. You will then need to enter their gender and year level, then select Add New Student before proceeding to Part 2.
Part 2 — Adding the Student to a Classroom
Once the student has been found or newly created, click Choose Classroom to Add in the top-right of the screen and select the appropriate classroom from the dropdown. Click Save to confirm.
If you are trying to add an exisiting student to a classroom you will need to navigate into the students profile and add them to a classroom or navigate to the classroom and add the student there.
