Custom Reviews

Custom Reviews let educators build their own assessments, tailored to their students’ needs. You can choose to have the system pick questions for you automatically, or hand-pick every question yourself — giving you full flexibility over what’s tested.

To create a Custom Review, navigate to Reviews, select the Custom Reviews tab, and click New. Give your review a name, set the year level, and decide whether questions should be randomised. Then choose either Select questions automatically or Select questions manually.

If you choose automatically, enter the number of questions you’d like, tick the sub-strands within each domain you want covered, and click Select. The total will appear at the top under Selected Question(s). Scroll down, review your questions (use the Preview button in the top-right of any question to see it in full), and click Create.

If you choose manually, you’ll pick questions directly. You can switch between Learning Area, Strands, and Sub-strands and add questions from any area. Click Select once you’re done, then scroll down to review your selections and click Save.

Once the review is created, go back to Reviews > Custom Reviews, click your review to highlight it, and click Assign. Open the dropdown for the classroom you want, tick the students to include, click Save, then confirm with Yes.
